Discuss Grey's Anatomy

I guess he never decided as a kid what he wanted to be when he grew up. First he was an anesthesiologist (sp?), then he wanted to be a surgeon. Now he wants to be a firefighter. Next he'll want to be a Navy SEAL, I guess.

From a story perspective it seems like waffling, sure. From a production perspective they want constant crossover potential between this show and the spinoff.

I guess I can understand that. I probably would have made it so there is a "test program" being run by the FD to have a trauma surgeon ride in with the firefighters/ambulances.
