First, I do not care at all about the whole Shinwell story line. Second, the "mysteries" are poorly written and dull. Most of the time they don't even give the audience a chance to figure out who done it because they don't find the important piece of evidence until the last 15 minutes of the show. Not that it really matters because the killer is always the recognizable actor that appears to have nothing to do with the crime what so ever.

And last week they just got lucky. This happens often on this show because they don't know how to right actual deductive reasoning. If the killer hadn't had experimental carpal tunnel surgery in the 1950's and included the scars in his sketches they never would have caught him.

So it's not worth watching anymore !? I stopped to watch it I think after the 3rd season. It was better than (spoiler* but I figured out that his girlfriend faked death and actually was Moriarty). !
