剧情简介
神盾局的任務是避免一般平民受到超自然事件困擾，並且保護他們的生命安全。在「紐約戰役」期間失去性命的特工菲爾·考森，在局長尼克·福瑞的命令下奇跡復生，並回到神盾局組織一支精銳和訓練有素的獨立機動特工小組，專責處理那些還未被指定為機密的案件：那些新的、陌生的、未知的新事物。這個小隊將以普通人的身份，投身於一個充滿超級英雄、外星人和不明物體的世界，去面對、處理、解決種種意想不到的難題；他們會證明，儘管是一群沒有超能力的凡人，只要團結起來，也會擁有足以改變世界的力量。在此期間，小隊成員們從意見不合、一直到變成了充滿友情、默契、並互相信任的團隊，但考森在任務執行期間，開始對自己復活的經歷產生質疑，而最後揭發的復活真相也讓他大為吃驚。
