Discuss Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I am not familiar with her comic origins, however I know Black Bolt is capable of destroying a planet, so maybe there is a slim chance that the Inhuman royal family will show up in some sort of cross over Episode this season.

I would say there are 3 possibilities:

1) Daisy/Quake - although I doubt that will be the actual answer since it was provided in the premiere. If it does end up being Quake, then there will be some sort of twist. 2) Black Bolt - now that we know Inhumans are back on Earth, very possible they will tie them in 3) Thanos - with Infinity War expected early May, this could tie in to what happens when Thanos arrives on Earth.

Another possibility was it was the Kree who did it. The Kree generally don't care about other races in the universe, as they consider themselves above them. They don't normally go out of their way to hurt other races (though some enterprising Kree will), and some actually help. However, it's not unusual for them to destroy a planet if it suits their needs or whims. They're that indifferent to it all. Think of them as akin to the Romans (which they were based off of). Possibly they detected Skrulls on the planet or even the Vrellnexians. Skrulls/Vrellnexians are found infesting a planet...blow it up, which is in line with how the Kree think.

The only problem I have with the Kree/Skrull argument is that Earth is now home to the Inhumans, who are the traditional enemies of the Kree, I doubt the Royal Family would just sit back and let the Kree destroy Earth. Then again ABC went out of there way to depower the Inhumans and either had them killed off or leave the planet in the AOS timeline, so who really knows at this point, I really don't think Daisy is capable of doing that. If they do go that route and have Daisy be the cause, then that is just bad writing.

No one in the MCU is a planet destroyer thus far, except maybe Ego. It would be strange to have this feature in a smaller, tv, property

I was thinking the same thing, I think it was the Kree and they blamed Quake.

So the post-annihilation news broadcast sent out reporters to find out who blew up the earth and printed up one last newspaper that they just let distribute itself via expanse of space? Or maybe somehow there was still power and television and people were glued to the TV sets while hurtling through the evaporating atmosphere on the chunk of dirt their living room is on.

I don't know how anyone could presume to know what happened unless it was a big off-world event. They'll probably do like what has been mentioned above and show how Daisy was framed somehow or blamed for it when she has actually gone back in time to stop (Blackbolt or some other inhuman or Thanos) from destroying the planet.

The story is interesting but needs to be short. It isn't the setting that I've enjoyed from AoS. Last season was so good. They need to follow suit. Forget these off topic side stories. Give us more character cameos. So far this season could be an entirely different show.

Actually, a Kree Nega-Bomb could destroy a planet. If you look at this you can see the damage inflicted by a nega-bomb is similar to what you see happen in the show.

Ronan could have destroyed a planet with the power stone. He was one dance off away from doing it too! Damned dance offs!

Well he did get served. I wish Earth itself would have stepped it up better
