For all the scientific jargon ubiquitous in the show, writers must not have been paying attention in class to how bodies in space will coalesce around a gravitational mass and not be still or shooting off in random directions lol. Aside from that nitpick I found the new direction not as campy/jump the shark as I thought it would be. Even the dumb Sharknado joke didn't seem misplaced

I agree with this. The story is intriguing so far but it is such a major departure from the norm of the show that I kinda wish it had been a 4 part mini series between seasons. They split last season into two arcs so hopefully they follow suit (preferably wrapping this up before mid-season). Looking forward to some Earth-side adventure with Fitz.
Last season was fantastic. Keeping my fingers crossed that they don't sink back into a bunch of Inhuman business drum beating.

Last episode was awesome. Fitz channels his inner Han Solo complete with hilarious geek reference to the nerf herder.
