Seinfeld.
The Sopranos.
Mad Men.
These are three modern-era TV shows that had a clear sense of story and knew when to quit. They planned the final episode while their respective shows were enjoying fine ratings and reviews. The called it quits while their shows were still popular. They stemmed the supply while the demand remained high. And we can ever enjoy what they did through syndication.
If only TWD had emulated this.
If only.

Dexter early seasons were amazing, esp 1-4. After, they sank in the toilet season after season.

Sadly, Robert is not aging well. But , yes, he was HOT HOT in Terminator and when he was on the X Files.

The finale was terribly unsatisfying. I only watched here and there, but wanted to see how they ended things.

Speaking of Freddie Highmore, he and Vera Farmiga were amazing in "Bates Hotel". That knew when to end, fans were terribly upset that it did end , though. We wanted, more , more, more!!

Yeah I loved Fringe. It used to be on Netflix and you could binge it there. But they cycle shows on and off and that one is gone now.
