well?

it’s hard to say. every week it seems there is a new crewman #6 on the screen. i’m wondering if they are going to have carol’s ex say something to her.

Wait, I must have missed something...Carol had sex?

I always used crewman#6 also. But I was told that Redshirt is the proper term. Which is it?

That guy is still around...Is he the longest liveing non star still around?

After 4 seasons Tobin bit the dust.

I wonder how long the Savior defector guy is going to last? Siddiq? Newest minor character additions.

Hard to say. I am thinking that once the machinations for Negan's actual death get going, i.e. when Rick and the gang (is there a collection noun for them?) finally actually get it done and kill Negan, Dwight the defector guy will probably get killed around that time. Somehow I don't think he would be accepted into the group if he survives. Certainly Daryl hates him, with good reason I think. How could people really trust someone who bought into the whole Negan philosophy? Then again, it could make an interesting subplot for a while if he did survive and join the group. That would give the writers grist for the mill. They could weave that arc into the story and it would provide a lot of emotional drama, and intrigue, just the stuff they like to work with. Daryl and some others would suspect Dwight of various wrongdoings, of being behind stuff that went sideways or things that went missing, etc. Others would believe Dwight and take up for him, or at least give him the benefit of the doubt, and that would provide a certain amount of drama. The writers could milk his character for a while longer, if they want to. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

That is an interesting analysis about Dwight. I would not put him in the minor character camp, though. I was referring to the guy at the Hilltop who told Maggie that he wants to stay there. The one that she had burying the Savior dead.

Oh right, I know the guy you mean now. He told her he could have run away but didn't want to. I had not thought about him before, but now I am wondering if he might be one of the ones to stick around a while. He wasn't one of Negan's officers, so he doesn't have that baggage. He was just one of those caught up and forced to go along with the saviors, one of the masses. He seemed like a fairly decent fellow. After Negan finally gets killed, and his lieutenants also, Maggie will be better able to get on with her life.
I have no reason to believe it will happen, but the thought popped into my head that perhaps she would get to know this guy and start to like him. I think she is too young to remain a grieving widow too much longer. They will probably find someone for her before long. And I don't see him being one of the current group.
