Yes, he does have a big heart so I can see him thinking about the unborn child as well.

Remember in first season, Tyrion was playful with young Tommen & Myrcella. But I feel the tears were more for Jamie as well. And maybe not specifically for Cersei I think in general just the realization that his whole family's dead.

I think Tyrion spoke from the heart when he stood before Cersei trying to plead with her not to kill Missandei

Despite all the times Cersei tried to have Tyrion killed, he still sees things from the heart and the fact that she had an unborn inside her, strengthened that.

I think if it were possible, he would have actually saved Cersei from death before Jamie. After all, we're not watching "The Good Son" here.
