I was SSSSSOOOOO wanting to see the NIGHT KING on the iron thrown.

My son just told me the petition to demand a season 8 'do-over' has exceeded a million, but the writers started their own petition about winging fans doing some fan based do-over.

The million petitioners are a mixture of bots and weirdos.

Maybe a no budget college made do-over as a web series might get done!

It end like most HBO Soap Operas End. Boring, Stupid with a hand full of floppy dongs and tites. Most of these Serialized shows have horrible endings. Because the writers ran out of ideas a long time ago. I figured people would be use to it by now.

Even though I don't watch this show I 100% agree with you Gus."Lost" is a prime example of this.It was such a great show and then the writers did this whole Flash Sideways thing which made us think that they changed the course of time. And then we find out is some kind of Purgatory timeline or something.Of course the Bible doesn't support the concept of Purgatory so we KNOW it's not real.So now we're left wondering what the hell just happened. The same thing COULD happen with this show so be prepared, just in case.

From a reliable spoiler site that has been correct so far that seems to be the way it will go.. It ends with a thud not a bang. No real surprises (except for who ends up on the throne which is the laughable stupid part) and then everyone goes... well won't give it away but you are correct. It is sad this show is going out the way of so many shows that stiffed us on the finale\end of it all have. As you mention, most serialized shows do; tho many British BBC shows have had great finales ("Ripper Street", "Missing", etc). Learn from the Brits!

Frankly i find British and Canadian TV to be a lot more palatable than America TV. They don't seem to need be edgy just for the sake of being edgy.
