I believe in a patchwork of fan theories and leaks off youtube. I think Daenerys will get pregnant and eventually die after childbirth following all these events.

1st Cersei sends the Golden company after Dany and her armies hoping to attack them from behind while they engage the dead. Jamie will confront and kill Cersei.

Euron attempts to usurp following Cersei's death declaring himself King of the seven kingdoms. Theon's rescue plan will fail and Danys army will end up defeating Euron later.

Dany will suspect Tyrion betrayed her following Cersei's sneak attack but later be convinced he was simply tricked by Cersei when he nearly sacrifices his life for her on the battlefield.

The Hound will challenge The Mountain and kill him.

Melisandre will bring the fiery hand from Valentis to aide Dany's army.

Danys armies will overcome the golden company but take heavy loses giving the NK's army a temporary advantage.

Jon will battle the Night King while riding Rheagal and the key to his defeat will be Bran linking himself to the NK.

In the finale Jon will have to kill Bran while he's linked to the NK in order to end the great war once and for all. Upon Bran's death the NK dies and all remaining wights and White walkers fall with him.

When it's all over Dany dies before she can make any claim to the throne. Before she dies, Jon decides not to tell her "the truth" about his lineage. He'll instead tell her "I know you love me" and she'll reply with a fanservice quip of "You know nothing ,Jon Snow", and those will be her last words.

Jon will decide to "break the wheel" by dividing up the kingdoms to different people. Daenerys will have given birth to his heir before her death.

Sansa will get Winterfell, Arya will refuse any lands and choose to wander looking for new adventures (that way they can set up a spin-off).

Predicted deaths next season: Dany, Jorah, Bran , Bronn, Tormund, Beric,Drogon and Viserion, Cersei, Ser Gregor, Euron, Greyworm, Brienne, Yara .

Possibly: Jamie and Tyrion

" I think Daenerys will get pregnant and eventually die after childbirth "

Heredity is definitely not in her favor. Both Jon's mother and Danny's mother died after giving birth to them.

(prediction) Melisandre, convinced that Arya is her destined murderer, will try to get away from her and run into Davos instead. He kills her to avenge Shireen.

Gravestones and snow and ash covering everything.

Just heard next season will not be shown until late 2019?????

Yup, most likely mid-year or the fall. This show takes incredibly long to film and every episode costs upwards of 10 million Dollars to make. They're projecting season 8 may cost about 15 million per episode.

I think CalabrianQueen is definitely on to something, though I don't agree with all of her predictions (by the way, I like your screen name . . . if you are hinting at Italian heritage, then I'm giving you a thumbs-up . . . I've got some of that myself . . . some of the family from Calabria, some from up north in Modena):)

Really hard to say who is going to take the throne, except that I do not think it will be the Night King, and I'm thinking it won't be Daenerys, either-- that Targaryean (sorry if I misspelled it) blood could be too much of an obstacle to gaining wider support in Westeros.

However, with only 50% Targaryean blood plus the wide respect he's already gained, it could be Jon Snow.

Heh, the smartass in me says it could be someone really unexpected . . . like all the major players end up killing each other, and then, with a smirk, Podrick ends up nonchalantly walking up to the throne and having a seat grinning

I do think that Melisandre will die, and, regardless of which side kills her, she will die tied to a post, and burned alive.

The thing is, she being who she is . . . Melisandre might actually get some weird enjoyment out of it.

Oh, and about the 2019 air date: I doubt it really has anything to do with cost-- I think HBO is just stretching out the show as long as they can, like they did with The Sopranos; by waiting almost two years to air new episodes, in the intervening time they can still claim Game of Thrones is an "active" show, and milk the old episodes and the hype surrounding the as-yet unaired new episodes for all they are worth.

As always, right or wrong, these are all just my thoughts.

I think Jon will take the throne. He'll split up with Danny because of the incest angle and her reputation as a brutal barbarian queen, and marry his cousin Sansa ( not for romantic reasons, but because she has been training to be a queen for all her life). Danny will accept the decision and go back to Essos to be a warlord.

Melisandre will be killed by either Arya or Davos. If Arya does it she may just cut her throat. Likewise Cirsei will be killed by Arya or Jaime If Joime does it, he'll kill himself afterward and Tyrion will be the only surviving Lannister. The royal palace will be destroyed during the fighting, with the Walkers accounting for the ruins Danny saw in her prophetic vision in Season 2.

Sam will be made the new Grand Maester.

I think the long delay for season 8 is to allow HBO to attract interest in spin-offs or prequels or whatever it is that they're planning on.

From what can gather the delay in airing the shows is to allow RR Martin to complete his 'last two books' !

Hey! Nice to meet another Calabrian.

I agree about Mel, I think she sacrifices herself at some point to help Dany and Jon's cause. Also, either Dany Or Jon will die by the end and most likely it will be Dany, since they promised a bittersweet ending and Jon has already died once.

This year they can build up hype and sell a whole lotta merchandise. The gap between seasons definitely benefits all involved and gives time to produce a polished final product.

No, just no.

Maisee let slip "April 2019" . Of course they could just change the date.
