Agreed.

Sometimes I am a slow learner. Phew, I wasn't sure how that was going to play out!

It was okay, a little bit of a let down. Some of that might be from the leakers and spoilers on here like Leo red keep and komrad, but still it was pretty anticlimactic for a season 7 finale going into season 8.

It's decent, but I won't be hanging around for season 8. I might binge it when it's all over, but I won't be anticipating it.

At this point, the final ending game plan is set up and I don't like the direction it's going in.

5/10

Well, I don't think Jaime will be in a hurry to return to Cersei again anytime soon......

I didn't see all of it but I saw most and overall I though it was good and I liked it. I just thought the whole Lyanna choosing to be with Rhaegar was kind of dumb since we know how that all turned out.... But it wasn't all that surprising to me either. I liked what they did with Little Finger I just wish they would have made him suffer a little by being a prisoner at first and then executed him.

I thought it was a smashing episode. One or two wobbly moments is to be expected - it's Game of Thrones, after all - but I was riveted throughout. The Littlefinger scene was a punch the air moment and almost makes the long, dreary Winterfell plot this season worth it. Maisie Williams, once again, killed it and even Sophie Turner, whose performance is erratic at best, made an impression. The look on Baelish's face as reality set in, and his increasingly desperate attempts to worm his way out of the inevitable - priceless.

Really enjoyed the Jon/Theon scene; the brief Brienne/Hound exchange. Cersei's reveal to Jaime was a groaner, and not hard to see coming, but led to a satisfying conclusion, with Jaime finally seeing the light.

And I thought Dinklage was better in this episode than he has been in at least two or three seasons. He is always at his best in scenes with Tyrion's family, and he had some great material tonight.

A long wait now until the final run.

I loved that scene between Tyrion and cersei.

Does anyone think that there's always been a tiny, small, little part of her ( I mean like the size of an ant) that cared about Tyrion or liked him at the least. Or does anyone think she might've not hated him if it weren't for tywins influence of hatred for him?

Agree. Tyrion has been one of my favorites, and he finally got good material tonight. Agree that he is definitely at his best when dealing with his family members.

Cersei has pretty much sealed her own fate, but we have season 8 for all that to be murdered.

I heard season 8 will not air until 2019...is that true?

Doubtful. Shooting supposedly starts in October, only a little later than season seven. I would be shocked if they held it back until 2019.

I loved it. I thought it was so good. In 7 seasons this show has yet to disappoint me.

I heard it may not air until 2019 either. I'm guessing it will either air fall 2018 or winter 2019.

Am I the only one who feels they have made the Night King into the most overpowered villain ever? He can break through magic protection spells, disrupt Bran (Three-Eyed Raven)'s warging, appears immune to dragon fire, and can take down a dragon, the most powerful weapon we've seen, by himself, and now he controls said dragon.

I feel like they are setting up a lot of devastation and death in the final season where the only resolution to the Night King's threat will be when he is struck down by a Valyrian steel blade, likely in a one-on-one fight with Jon.

Quite awful. I think everyone involved gave up caring long ago. I don't even know where to start. Only watching to see how it plays out. Although surprises have become rare.

I enjoyed the finale, but I kept waiting for certain things to happen that didn't. But I've read so many spoilers that I don't remember which were for this and which for season 8. (And possibly some are false, so...)

The spoiler I allude to is the one about Cersei's pregnancy. Anyone know if that waits until season 8, or is it a false spoiler?
