Personally I just want the best show possible but...

Dany seems to be turning into a royal bîtch. bend the knee this. bend the knee that. Join me or die. Sounding more and more like the people she started out hating.

Yes, I agree. Look at the contrast between Danny ordering executions and Sansa explaining to Arya that one has to be diplomatic.

I wonder if being a Lady with all that that entails has made Sansa a bit more humble and perceptive. It wasn't that long ago she with a passionate heart wanted to get rid of Alys and Ned simply because they were spawned out of a traitors house. She learned something valuable that day no doubt.

But Sansa was talking about people who were already allied with House Stark, people from the North who have common interests. Daenerys was addressing enemy soldiers fighting for Cersei, there's some difference there. Daenerys gave a Lord Tarley a choice and he chose death. It's important for Daenerys to establish to Westoros that's she serious and that her words have meaning. If she had backed down, she would have appeared weak.

yeah....shes grating on my nerves.....she needs to bend the waist and be taken Khal Drogo style like back in season 1. she gonna be pisses when she finds out Jon Snow has more of a right to the Iron Throne than she does. She's been power tripping for 7 years now.....ooops!!

Yes, she has been my favorite character since the beginning. Arya a close second.

Yes, Danidiots still abound but normal people see the light. Daenerys has been a murderer issuing blanket judgements and acting on unverified suspicions for a long time. It started when she had the maegi burned alive in S1E10, who had not admitted to any crime. If you thought she had, watch again: she only presented events as some godly revenge and she had told people not to enter the tent during the ritual. It continued in Astapor ("kill everyone who holds a whip"), in Meereen (crucifying random masters without investigation), in Vaes Dothrak (setting up all the Khals to be burned alive after getting one of them excited enough to threaten her) and basically any time she thinks of doing something before someone wiser holds her back. Daenerys is the perfect example of a tyrant and the show now uses Tyrion, another fan favourite, to make it visible to those who couldn't or did not want to see it before.

But look at what happened when she tried strategy. She lost Dorne, the Iron Born, and house Tyrell pretty much over a couple of days! She swoops in with her dragon (only one) and the Dothraci (sic) and wipes out pretty much Cerci's entire army. This is medieval times, albeit fictionalized, and being brutal and instilling fear was the way things worked. Read up on the history of the Kings and Queens of the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries and they were all in one way or another merciless. No one maintained their rule or took another's throne away by being nice.

I truly figured Jamie would end Cerci and then surrender. But now that she is pregnant again there is little chance of that. Did not see it coming.

Read up on history, really (I do) and you'll find even Merovingian kings of the 6th century, who ought to be at the least civilised level, showed more mercy than Daenerys ever does. There was a lot backstabbing and murdering behind the scenes but displays of bloody "justice" with a straight, convinced face was limited to the most obvious cases of treason. Prisoners were routinely taken and ransomed, not told to "bend the knee or die".

Strength is shown in vanquishing people, not in executing them. Doing this, she only showed the war against her was worth fighting. She's an idiot.

"Daenerys was addressing enemy soldiers".

They weren't "enemy soldiers" until Danny decided they were. She was the aggressor. Of course the Lannisters were at fault for making a sneak attack on the Tyrells, stealing their money, and killing an old woman, but that was the decision of Cirsei and her brothet; the soldiers weren't guilty of anything but following orders.

The Tyrells declared themselves and acted as enemies of the Crown in the moment their fleet joined Daenerys and helped her invasion. The Lannisters were amply justified in all they did.

Yes, but _Enemies of the Crown _is the sticking point. Cersei wears the crown because she says she is the queen. But Margaery Tyrell used to be the queen. Now Dany claims to be the queen.

Just about anyone can be accused of being an enemy of the crown; the question is which crown?

Any normal guy likes Dani just on looks alone.

She's clearly the protagonist in the story. If not for her, the show would only be about half as good.

Emilia Clark is the star and Dani the best written main character with close behind Arya, Tyrion, and the despicable Cersei.

Who would someone root for more than her? The crazy Lannisters? The Stark babies? Bland Jon Snow? (I say that because as a knight warrior, he doesn't come close in strength and skill to the Dothraki or Kal Drogo, and also because his character isn't written as well). He's okay, but personally if you die, it's like cheating to be brought back to life but others can't.

I love Dani. If it wasn't for her and Arya, I wouldn't be watching.

I stopped rooting for Dany the moment she became arrogant towards her enemies. I don't like arrogance. Dany is the only ruler who brags about her successes.

So it's okay to poison, assassinate, and murder people as long as they're not arrogant? lol.
