Well they do and straight after that statement we are shown two gay women sharing intimate moment together and I'm done with this BBC woke propaganda, at least I didn't waste too much of my time and cut it in the beginning of second episode. Shame, it looked like decent show, but enough is enough, not sure how is gay relationship of main character relevant to be reminded in each episode multiple times.

I have to agree, it was too much and IMO, unnecessary. I thought this from season 1, but it's just highlighted even more because of it being set in "Wudyani" aka Saudi Arabia. It didn't help that Rose Leslie's acting was awful during her emotional scenes.
