Discuss Unsolved Mysteries

LOL, as others have already said on other forums, this episode was more (unintentionally) funny than scary. This obese, cockeyed man marries a 16 year old, which I thought would be illegal, then they both live with his parents.

One of the funniest parts was when he claims his wife became 'possessed' and turned into a sex-crazed maniac pinning him down to the bed. Yeah, sure that happened. That sounds more like a sexual fantasy of his than anything else (the wife was never interviewed to confirm any of this). Then his weirdo parents heard this commotion going on and put their ear up to his bedroom door to listen in. I was laughing the entire time.

Too bad the wife wasn't interviewed for two reasons: One, to confirm that any of this happened and Two, if she was as pretty as the actress playing her. I don't see a grossly overweight man attracting a female that looked like her.

I remember that case. A succubus spirit entered her. Some of these were so fake it was hard to hide. Yet it was scary when your a kid. Think about tallman's ghost. He could unlock doors and movie paint brushes yet nothing else?

Yeah, it's very scary when you're a kid. So much of it does seem fake watching it years later.

On another forum it was said Alan's 16 year old bride was interviewed originally but her parts were cut out in the re-runs. I didn't see the episode when it originally aired. Someone speculated it had to do with her being underage and likely her husband signed the release for her interview. Now that they are divorced she was able to have her scenes removed due to her being only 16 when she gave the interview.

That's creepy in it's own right. He probably was the sex demon and tried manipulating her into believing she was evil.

I think in most states it's legal for a 16 year old to marry if her parents consent.

I just saw the story on DVD and Alan was 19 when they got married.
