"In the DC Comics Naomi is the child of metahumans parents, who were exposed to mysterious radioactive energy. They are killed by the criminal Zumbado on their alternate Earth. As a baby, Naomi is sent to Earth-0, where Rannian Greg Duffie and his wife Jennifer adopt her."
"Naomi Inherited her gifts from her parents and wields that same meta- energy inside her. It gives her the power to fly, release immense amounts of energy from her hands, and create the super-suit she wears. The force also makes Naomi physically resilient and tremendously strong."
Naomi McDuffie (Kaci Walfall) seems like just your typical popular teenage girl. She loves comic books and superheroes - especially Superman - and runs the third-largest Superman fan site in the world.
One day there is a strange occurence in her hometown Port Oswego, Oregon: Superman appears fighting a supervillain. Everyone thinks it is a publicity stunt, but Naomi suspects that something else is happening and sets out to solve this mystery.

It's ok, but falls into the same hypocrisy that plague the characters of every CW superhero show where the heroes accuse everyone of keeping secrets and lying to them, yet at the same time constantly keeps secrets and lies to everyone they know. Geez, does DC know how to write any other way? I was really hoping this would be different. 🙄

Let's hope that "Ms. Marvel (2022)" is better.

Tonight's episode of Naomi doubled down on the I hate that people keep lying to me trope that CW writers dip into way too often. I was cringing throughout it, and it pissed me off that she was shocked that her bf was ghosting her after she falsely accused him of lying to her, when she had been lying to him the whole time they've been together. WTF, CW writers? Get a f'ing new shtick already.
