Hory Jižní Koreje pokrývají sedmdesát procent plochy státu a svojí krásou a rozmanitostí přispěly k pestrosti tamní kultury. Někteří obyvatelé v horách spatřovali sídlo bohů, jiní je uctívali jako bohy samotné. Hory byly odpradávna tajemné a nebezpečné. Zároveň však také skýtaly útočiště, v němž kypěl život. Horské hřebeny a údolí dodnes nesou stopy dějin, jež vytvořil člověk i příroda. Život v horském prostředí je sice drsný, přesto může nabídnout i mnoho příjemného a krásného. Ať už navštívíme rýžová a čajová pole u hory Čirisan, nebo ostrov Čedžu s úchvatnou horou Halla. Korejci stále žijí s horami v harmonii a ty zůstávají jako němí svědkové uplynulých časů. Čeká nás tak nádherná cesta, která nám tato místa pomůže poznat.
