The series doesn't quite measure up to History's vinkings predecessor. I thought what they did was absurd.
The lord of Kattegat is black, and this in the 11th century, which seems strange for a Norse kingdom; one of the protagonists, when having his first places, turns the handle of the ax upside down so as not to hurt the main character, which seems strange in the face of the vinking reality; an unknown woman (protagonist) arrives scolding everyone, including the lords, kills a character that would be very important to everyone, but nothing happens to her, she is arrested, but the next day s... read the rest.
If you liked Vikings TV show, you will like this too and it's as interesting as Vikings, however there is one mistake in this TV show. I don't think Scandinavia or any European countries ever had black lords back in old times. Blacks were slaves and only after many years they gained freedom, so seeing black lord or black warriors in this TV show seems stupid and false, but any other aspects of this TV show are great. Characters are interesting and well developed. I'm giving it 9/10 stars.
