Kaj če bi izgubili spomin? Kaj pa, če vohun ne bi vedel, da je vohun?

V globalni vohunski agenciji Citadel so se zaradi potreb izjemno zahtevne naloge odločili, da svojim glavnima agentoma Masonu Kanu in Nadii Sinh izbrišejo spomin. Od takrat se Mason in Nadia skrivata v normalnosti vsakdanjega življenja. Vse dokler do Masona ne pristopi Citadelov uslužbenec Bernard Orlick, ki mu pove, da sta z Nadio postavljena pred novo nalogo. Da bi antagonistu Mantikorju preprečil vzpostavitev novega svetovnega reda, mora Mason najprej najti in znova spoznati Nadio.
