For kids cartoon with two or three distinct stories (segments) per half-hour, each episode should be split so that each segment is an episode. For example, "Going the Extra Milo / Sunny Side Up" should be two episodes. The main reason for splitting the segments is that segments are often released individually and/or paired with a different segment in subsequent releases.

While I do acknowledge the ‘multiple segments rule’ for half-hour kids shows, I do not think that this rule should apply for The Animaniacs reboot. Unlike many (older) kids shows, this show is on a streaming service which provides us, the TMDB community, the official broadcast order in a easy-to-comprehend way. Also, the rule acknowledges subsequent releases but for shows on streaming services, this is most likely out of order since the show is exclusive to Hulu. Furthermore, the Bible acknowledges that certain anime should not be split up:

An example of anime series with segment that shouldn't be split is Aho-Girl. While the episode are composed of multiple segments, they are listed as regular episodes on the official website. Each episode has a single title and description.

In the case of the Animaniacs reboot, the listing on Hulu is the official website. Furthermore, the official website linked on the shows listing on TMDB redirects to the same site I listed here. As Hulu does not list the show with 42 episodes, I believe we should list the show with 13 episodes and apply the same anime rule to Animaniacs (and other upcoming kids shows on streaming services with multiple segments). After all, each episode has a single title and a description on the Hulu website.

Voicing my support for cataloging the episodes as they are on HULU. As the episodes are, they are not separate, they are together as episodes on a streaming service . They should be listed as such. It doesn't make any sense to me to list each segment as one episode when this is not how they are 'packaged.' If possible, this probably needs to be looked at. Like anything, things evolve, and television is no exception. And when things evolve, pre-established "rules" or "policies" should be reassessed.
