In an ep about Ernest T. Bass trying to join the army. Barney mentions a Number 2 Amber alert. The Amber Alert that goes out for missing kids would not be introduced until 1996!

( Actually, Barney is merely scripted to refer to something like a red alert. In case you do not know-- Amber is a color between yellow and orange.)

(I will add this in too. It may have been common for police forces and sheriff's offices to refer to an Amber alert long before 1996. It may have been unofficial law enforcement jargon. I am only saying maybe. Is that where the writer of this ep heard it? How technically accurate was TAGS?)
