Do you agree with George Costanza?

On “Seinfeld”, a woman asks George what his mother is like. He called her an uglier version of Shirley Booth. He said kids taunted him by saying “Hey, your mother’s uglier than Hazel!…Hazel puts your mother to shame!…” I wouldn’t call Booth a beauty, but I thought she was kind of cute. Probably more adorable. Anyone else’s thoughts?

George is just showing his insecurity. He is now happily married.
