I edited the Film-entroy of 'Tommyknockers' and just added the actors.
Traci Lords was not found, strange.
So I added the entry 'Traci Lords' and started to add the filmography.
At 'Blade' there is Traci Lords in the actor-list, but a much more complete entry like my new one (https://www.themoviedb.org/person/10826-traci-lords).
When I search for 'Traci Lords', I can just find my new entry,
when I look to a film with her, i.e. 'Blade', I find her already existing entry with a long list of films.

Is there a kind of filter what produces this behaviour?

Traci Lords is an adult and pornographic film actress.
Check your profile to see if the "Include Adult Items in Search?" has the option "Yes".

Only then can you view it in the search and choose to add it to a movie.
