But if there is no official source confirming it or contradicting info online (I don't know if this is the case or not, I haven't done any research), we might just have to wait until the episodes are released to see if they're part of the same season or a new season.

For what it is worth, a month-old press release mentioned season 12 (a new season) which will premiere July 29th.

We follow the original broadcaster. Seasons 6 and 7 were broadcasted by Comedy Central as 2 seasons of 26 episodes each, as visible on this archived page.
