I'm trying to enter a film which appears not to be on TMDB. When I enter the corresponding IMDb nummber, I'm told that it's already in use. Is it possible to tell what film here is already using it? The film is here on IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0902310/ I suspect that someone may have mistakenly entered its IMDb number for one of the other versions of the opera "Moses und Aron" that are already on TMDB.

You can use this url https://www.themoviedb.org/redirect?external_source=imdb_id&external_id= and append imdb number on the end.
One of the mods showed me this trick a while ago which works really well.

A contributor mistakenly added it to https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/372006, I removed it.

Things are still a bit screwy. When I try to do a Fix Match on Plex. it thinks the film with the cover and description from 2015 is now from 2006. Since i understand that they used TMDB's data, might the problem still be at TMDB, or is this just a Plex problem? (I would attach a screenshot here, but I don't see how.)

It takes between 48-72 hours for changes here at tmdb to creep their way into the plex metadata backend. So you probably need to wait a little longer.
If after that and you still see issues I'd suggest opening a thread over on the plex forums.
