Currently, TMDb's rules require that roles only record the original actors (or voice actors). However, I'm sure many people around the world would like TMDb to record information about dubbing voice actors from their country as well. Considering that TMDb is a huge media database that, like Wikipedia, is created by the power of collective intelligence, I believe that recording information about dubbing voice actors would be an important record for individual countries, and a great contribution that TMDb can make to the world. I also think that the opportunity to click on each voice actor to see their other credits is something that TMDb can do well. Therefore, I'm requesting an expansion of the functionality of the Casting section. Like the Basic Info section in Editing, I would like to see a way to record a role after selecting a country, so that there are no conflicts with the original or other countries. Of course, there are cases where a dub is re-dubbed after the initial dub, so there should be a remarks section to record that as well. I wish TMDb would take dubbing actors seriously.
