Why are certain genres now combined? Action & Adventure // Scifi & Fantasy // War & Politics
It doesn't make sense to combine genres when there are movies/TV series that may be only one.
Action and/or Adventure — (ex. Rocky is action but not adventure) Sci-fi and/or Fantasy — (ex. Mary Poppins is fantasy but not scifi) War and/or Politics — (ex. Saving Private Ryan is war but not politics)
I gave only one example of each for reference, but there are so many more.

There hasn’t been any changes, TV genres have been like this since the day we introduced TV in 2013. This was how the original data we had access to came in and we haven’t made any changes since.

I must've been confusing it with movies... I haven't edited a TV show in a while. I believe the genres should all be separate tho since the same reasoning applies. (ex. Timeless - tv series - is scifi but not fantasy, another ex. X-Files is scifi not fantasy). It's a suggestion - Us there an area for suggestions, I haven't seen one on here.
