I am currently working on a React Project where I am using TMDB API with axios(tested with fetch, too). The API is giving proper response in my localhost server. But after deploying the website on Vercel(I tried Netlify too), the API is not giving any response. Weirdly, it is not happening in all devices, rather it is working perfectly in some devices. The error I am getting in console:
GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/top_rated?api_key=xxx
net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Here is the live URL of the website hosted in both Vercel and Netlity :
I've tested the endpoint in Postman, it gives response there too. But trying to hit this endpoint from someone else's device doesn't work. It works in some devices and not working in other devices. I am completely clueless about this issue. Asking help to fix this.

Are you in India by any chance? The Indian government has blocked TMDB and different ISP's are imposing the block differently than others. For some it seems as though it's just a DNS block, which means you can change your nameservers to get around it. Others seem to do more than that.
If you want to try switching your nameservers, you can try:
In any case, there's nothing we can on our end about this.

@travisbell I am from India. I have deployed the website in vercel and it doesn't allow me to switch nameservers. Is there any other possible solution to try out?

I have raised a complaint with JiFiber about the same and have been following it past 2 months, since this block is not from indian government but from Jio Fiber itself, They will unblock it soon

No info as of now, but its partially blocked, For some its working for some it isn't, For me also it was working but past 2 months images were not loading on tmdb and eventuially it was fully blocked, and by block i don't mean block, we simply get error that "this site isnt reachable'
I had raised a complaint to their it department for more info today itself , they said they might have blocked it from their side and will give more update on it once they have any info
Will update here about the status of the same as soon as i get any reply

Update : 17 April 2024 : So I tried with multiple complaints with jio but unfortunately their service sucks, NO response and no resolution, So disconnected their ISP and switched to another ISP to access tmdb cause accessing tmdb via VPN was a hassle for me, tmdb works fine with another ISP
