Hi, For the last two or three weeks, I have had the problem that my Synology video station is no longer able to connect to the database. Neither when searching for video information nor during the general connection test in the settings. However, in the window in which the API key is entered, the connection test is successful. Today, for a different reason, I used the second network port of the DS, which gave the DS a different IP address in the internal network and miraculously the video station was able to connect to the database. Back on the other port, the connection failed again. Does anyone know the problem and has a possible solution?

Some Synology NAS/DS Video users have appeared reporting problems.
There are different versions of Hardware and different versions of Software.
And the problems are not exactly the same for all these versions.
One of them said there was an update from Synology.
We don't know yet but it looks like this update came with this issue.
So I suggest getting help from Synology's website.

Hi, thanks for you fast answer. I'm in touch with the synology support. Unfortunately, we are currently still writing at cross purposes. I was able to reproduce the phenomenon repeatedly today. No connection to the database is established with port 1, regardless of whether the IP is static or dynamic. With port 2 it works in both variants. It seems a bit strange, as otherwise all the functions (that I use) work perfectly.
