Has site admin looked at this yet? I've been using this API for years without problem, but now I'm getting the 'Invalid API' response, even when entering directly into the web browser as suggested.

If you have already tested in your browser and received Invalid API.
follow the instructions below.

Invalid API confirmed by user testing
Two possible ways to solve your problem.

1 - Open a topic only about your personal problem.
There you will be informed when your API is regenerated.

2 - Go to your profile
https://www.themoviedb.org/settings/api
and click on the "Regenerate Key" option in the top menu.

Correction via either path takes an average of one week.
Only admin Travis Bell can fix the issue.

OK. Thanks.

got a similar problem when using the code for authentication from API REFERENCE tab. Instead, used the docs Auth Guide and that way It worked with API KEY as the credential for login in. I could be wrong but in the API reference at least for curl ,TOKEN and API KEY have the same style of header request and in the documentation they are different.

u are the best!

I've done the re-generate key, but it's still invalid

Only the Travis Bell admin and you can access your API Key.
So I suggest you

Take a Test
Using a computer, desktop or notebook.
On some mobile devices this test may not work correctly.
In the URL below, change THE_KEY to your API Key.
https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/550?api_key=THE_KEY
Use this example to do a search using a new tab or window in your browser.
You will receive the basic data of the Movie Fight Club (1999)
https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/550-fight-club
If it works, your Key is OK.

When there is a problem, the TMDb Server sends a message.
Can you tell which message the server sent?
Here is a list of possible messages:

If it does not work, let us know right here.
