The question now is whether this is a series or film series. I had a discussion with Samara, but we came to no conclusion - both movie series and TV show are plausible in my opinion, it should be up to the moderators to decide how it should be entered in TMDB.

Since the episodes/movies were released in packs of two on DVD, they could be called movies. Besides Wikipedia, these sites say it is a film series:
