The Movie Database Support

Hi,

TMDB search/indexer treats & and and differently, and I believe this is a behavior that should be changed so they are normalized to the same token.

Today, searching for colin in black and white returns no result, though colin in black & white does. This is a bit silly, users are not expected to know the spelling of "and".

For reference, TheTVDB isn't affected: and, &

It's hard to google this topic since not many people know the keyword "ampersand", but I found some related confusion in the past:
