This TV episode is on TMDB and imdb.

This search fails to find it

Is that because the imdb_id has not been added to the episode on TMDB? Is there any other way to get TMBD data in cases like this? Thanks.

It looks like @ticao2 only just added the IMDb ID to this item today (probably after he saw this post) so it will start working once the cache expires.
But I think that probably highlights the issue for you, if the IMDb ID hasn't been added to an item, obviously we can't return the match for you.

Thanks. Are there many without IMDB Ids? It's looking like some, if not all, of that series, is without an ID. Should I report them anywhere or is it just a fact of life with crowdsourcing?

I think the movie and TV series coverage is pretty decent but the coverage drops off pretty quick for TV episodes.
You can, or add them yourself. The only way we get the content is by having users like yourself add them.

Yes, I added the IMDB ID, made the API Request and still got no response.
It must be Cache.
