When adding Cast or Crew is there some way I can search by their imdb id ?

This may have been suggest before but I could not find a post. Anyhow, I've been adding and fixing some cast credits recently and I think it would be very useful when adding cast to search using their imdb id.
So, lets say as an example I want to add Jeri Ryan (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005394) to some show, movie or episode. Assuming their profile on tmdb has the external id to imdb is there a way I can just search for nm0005394 returning the cast member I want instead of using their name ?
If not would it be possible to add this in the future. I sense it might overtime reduce the number of duplicates and could increase the accuracy of entries being added.

Totally agree that this would be a great change, as far as I know it's also planned to be added: https://trello.com/c/dbrmFmZ6/61-allow-person-imdb-id-to-be-searched-when-adding-cast-crew
If you do want to know if an IMDB ID is already associated to a profile, you can append the ID to this link and it will redirect you to their profile: https://www.themoviedb.org/redirect?external_source=imdb_id&external_id=
Though that is pretty time consuming.

Thanks, excellent tip. Will be using that going forward if I'm unsure of a cast I'm adding.
