I'm trying to get my dad's headshot to appear in the cast list of movies he's in in Plex's headshot circle instead of just his initials.
We uploaded a good headshot on his account, waited days, and nothing.
I did some searching in the forum and in the "bible" and found maybe the aspect ratio was the issue and so I cropped his headshot to an aspect ratio of 1:1.5 as recommended, waited days, and still nothing.
When he logs into his TMDB account the headshot shows as his avatar,
but it never seems to propagate out to Plex (I know because of caching it wouldn't be instant anyway).
Can someone help me figure out how to get the image to show up?

I think maybe, you added a photo to your dad's user account.
You need to add it to his actor profile.
Which must be this one without a photo.

Thanks ticoa2, that was it!, but I think I cropped in a little too much so I just re-did it backing off a bit and added a 2nd headshot, but can't seem to delete the first one. Is that something only a mod can do? If so could you do it for me? Thanks again!

Yes, only Moderators can delete images.
As for the photo, I think so too. It was too tight, too tight.
And your father is very serious.
Do you have any pictures of him more smiling, happy?
I saw some on IMDB.
Could you complete with more information?
A biography perhaps. Or where he was born.

Thank you ticoa2. When you said that about the serious look I immediately thought of that other headshot in the tie smiling which I see you already found and uploaded it for me. I agree that'd probably be the better main picture since he's smiling. Would you mind promoting it to be the main profile pic? The images assume the main position due to being the most voted.
Therefore, as nobody must have voted yet, all you have to do is vote and she will assume the first position.
And if your father also votes, he will have 2 votes. :-)
And if he doesn't like it, just click the finger down.
Fingers appear when you hover your mouse over the image.
