The Movie Database Support

I don't know if it's a glitch on this website or what, but I wrote a review for a movie and I still don't see it there. What's more strange that for that particular movie, it says 19 reviews in total, but when I click "Read all reviews", it shows me only 10 reviews.

Can anyone tell me what's going on? Is it a glitch? Can devs fix it? Or is this website another censoring website where reviews are selected and biased?

Reviews are verified and released by administrator Travis Bell only.
And he's been pretty busy lately.
I don't think there is any kind of censorship.
Of course, swearing is not well accepted.

As for quantity, it is the total number of reviews in all languages.
But they are displayed to you in the language defined in your profile.
If you change the language you will see the others.

I believe the number should just be the amount in your language.
I will suggest this fix to the admin.

Oh, I see you're right about reviews and language. I just switched English to German and I don't see any reviews at all for that particular movie. Yes, please suggest admin to make it so that number should be amount of my default language.

Now, about my review submission... I just tested and wrote a review for another movie and it became public right away without verification by admin. So, either you're wrong that reviews must be verified by admin, either my review got censored (which I hope not). It didn't contain any swearing or insulting. Can you find out more information about this issue?

I believe I am not wrong.
The Administrator has already informed several times that
only he can release the publication of reviews.
I don't know what the admin release criteria are.
Maybe it depends on the complexity of the review.
Simpler reviews are released faster.
More complex reviews he wants to do a more thorough analysis.
These are just my guesses.

either my review got censored (which I hope not).

I don't think there is any censorship.
I've never heard of censorship here on the Forum.
Anyway, if you still have questions, only administrator Travis Bell can clarify.
Let's wait for admin Travis Bell to come by and clarify this issue.

Obviously he's not publicly approving reviews. You can test this too. Just go to any movie you have watched and write a review. It will be published right away.

I tested your theory about complexity of the review and I wrote a long review of the movie and again it got published right away. Do you see my review for this movie? If yes, it means reviews get published right away, without admin's approval. However, I tried to figure out why my previous review didn't get published, especially if you say that this site isn't biased and censoring different opinions like other sites do (IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes...) and one thing came to my mind. I tested something else. The thought came to my mind that maybe there's some glitch on the site for movies that have many reviews, because the only difference between The Batman and other movies I wrote reviews was that The Batman had many reviews from other users. So, I picked some popular movie that I have seen and that has many reviews and decided to write a review and guess what? My theory turned out to be right. It didn't get published. I wrote a review for the The Suicide Squad (2021). I don't see my review here. You can test it too if you want. I don't know if it's a glitch or maybe admin made it that way that if movie exceeds some number of reviews, site automatically puts the rest reviews into pending mode until they get approved my admin. I hope admin comes here and gives us clear answer what's going and why it's like that.

I attempted to write a review for the film I'm uploading material about, if that's allowed. I received the following when I click on "write a review" :

"Uh-oh, something went wrong There was a problem trying to load this page. If you would like to share what happened, please let us know on the forums."

Please assist.

Hey guys,

We finally got pagination hooked up on the reviews pages, so now in the example above, there's actually a way to go through them all.

Thanks for fixing it Travis :)
