Hello there,
I am having problems with understanding of how to maintain different episode numbering co-existing at the same time. For example, let's take a look into Duck Tales (2017) Season 1, having this episode numbering:
s01e01 - Woo-oo! - 50 minutes - this is a "double" episode, which runs 50 minutes. But on Disney XD it was aired as 2 actual episodes, named like "Woo-oo! Pt. 1" and "Woo-oo! Pt. 2" - and this is exactly how those episodes are shown in the media player. But when using API, system cannot understand that it has to merge 2 episodes into one, obviously.
Initially I thought that TV Episode Groups might be helpful here, but after reading TV bible I realized that it's wrong. So, is it even possible to have a way to support those split/merged episodes with different numbering schemes? I.e. having
Episode | Amazon | Disney XD
s01e01 | Woo-oo! | n/a
s01e01-1 | n/a | Woo-oo! Pt. 1
s01e01-2 | n/a | Woo-oo! Pt. 2
s01e02 | Daytrip.of.Doom! | Daytrip.of.Doom!
...

No, this is not possible.
The main episodes list list the episodes the way they were originally broadcast.
The episodes groups give the possibilities to list the episodes with different orders.
But, there are no way to merge or split episodes.
