I want to add a trailer to the french version of the "Le Jeu de la mort" movie.
But I receive an error message because the french trailer is already existing in the CA french version of the TMDB movie (printscreen).
Isn't there the possibility to add the same trailer for the same language from two different countries?

Please make sure you add trailer to the right language. Métrolope Films is a French Canadian distribution company: http://www.metropolefilms.com/index.php/about/?lang=FR
No. Feel free to find a fr-FR trailer to add to the fr-FR translations though.

The problem is that several films are not translated into CA French and French, which is the case with this one. It is moreover in this case a French production. There is therefore only one trailer for each of the two "languages" (it is still the same language in both countries). Is it possible to make a feature request so that the same trailer can be used for two same languages from different countries (fr-FR / fr-CA, en-US / en-EN, …)?

They are still distributed by different distributors in each country.

Not for smaller productions that aren't distributed in every country, but I agree that's not the case for this one. One solution is to download the trailer from YouTube and re-upload it to have a different key, but that's not a great method…

If a film isn't released in a country, then a lot of local data will be missing (trailer, poster, title, etc.) for said country. If a user want to see international data for a film unreleased in their country, they can just use a different TMDb translation.

OK that was not the vision I had but I understand your point of view, it makes sense. In my case I use Jellyfin which is based on the TMDB API, when I want to watch the details of a movie, I would like to see a trailer in French, regardless of the distributor who made the trailer is in Switzerland, France, Canada or elsewhere. But I imagine this is more of a "problem" with Jellyfin. A feature could be that if it does not find info in the preferred language (fr-FR), it makes a second request to see if this data exists in the same language of another country (fr-CA). Tanks for your answer.
