The Movie Database Support

Got some channels that should be listed as certified official outlets for distributors.

Paramount Movies Digital (although this seems to have stopped being updated, it was definitely an official channel for Paramount): https://www.themoviedb.org/video/channel/UCOwaTlA0nHlqMf4HBEWmLaw

Paramount Movies UK (UK page for Paramount Pictures): https://www.themoviedb.org/video/channel/UCXwyXuLskuYsZiWNh0STJdw

Sky Cinema (UK film channel and distributor, who recently split off their Cinema uploads from the main Sky channel, which is certified): https://www.themoviedb.org/video/channel/UCP6T93Fe7qKYlvb_5Cs8Z4g

Hello @lineker there are some problem regarding some official YouTube channels.

  1. The "AnimeUS" channel is not an official YouTube channel, this channel upload anime trailers illegally on YouTube. The owner of this channel download and upload trailers on YouTube whenever a Japanese official channel uploads a trailer. So, please remove the official channel checkmark of this channel from TMDB. Thank you. Link: https://www.themoviedb.org/video/channel/UCG71OlxYwacQyerL4jvQBxg YouTube gives official checkmark on 100K subs maybe that's how this channel got official checkmark on YouTube.
  2. The "Ani-One中文官方動畫頻道" channel is a 100% official YouTube channel without any doubt. This channel owns by Asian anime distributor Medialink. But, all of the videos of this channel are only available in 2-5 countries and only with Chinese subtitles. I just checked on Polsky Org UK. As per, TMDB bible, the videos should be available on many countries as possible. So, I guess you should remove all the videos/this channel from TMDB. They have an another channel name "Ani-One Asia" where they uploads the same trailers are previously mentioned channel but with English and Chinese subtitles together focusing on English speaking countries in Asia and also the videos of Ani-One Asia channel are available in lots of countries. So, please keep the Ani-One Asia channel and remove the Ani-One中文官方動畫頻道 channel from TMDB database. Both channels are almost same since both channels provide same Chinese subtitles (English sub included for Ani-One Asia). Waiting for a reply.

Hi, I removed the official designation for AnimeUS. Someone probably thought it was official because of the YT checkmark.

As for the other one, I agree that too few countries means it should be removed. However, it's a bit of extra work to fix and I'm busy with other stuff, but if I were to remove the official designation can you (or someone else) help fix it? (Edit: if not, I should have time to fix it later this week.)

You mean after removing the official designation, I'll remove all the videos right? Sure, no problem.

Also, I found another channel where all videos are only available in Taiwan. Link: https://www.themoviedb.org/video/channel/UCgdwtyqBunlRb-i-7PnCssQ

Thanks. I have removed the designation for both, following the recommendation in our Video rules.
