The Movie Database 支持

I think there is something i don't understand about how language selection/translations work on the site.

I'm a native Dane, so I've set everything to give preference to the Danish language (but for writing this I've checked what a couple of things are called in English, and my Firefox that supports a list of languages has English on the list of languages I understand, and it gets chosen as fallback language on TMDB),
but when I visit e.g. https://www.themoviedb.org/person/142669-sigrid-horne-rasmussen under "Kendt for" ("Known For" in English), it mostly shows posters and titles of the movies in Danish, but under the poster for "Pigen og millionæren" (danish title) it says "The Girl and the Playboy" (english title).
Why? I can only see that English title where it belongs on the page for the movie.

It is certainly a BUG.
If your default language is da-DK,
and if all movies have original da-DK title,
then you should see all da-DK titles.
If it doesn't, it's probably a BUG.

I hope you calling it a bug, means I should report it, because that is what I have done, using the "Report an Issue"-link at the bottom of the left pane on the page.

Yes, you did the right thing.
And most likely this error/bug occurs on the pages of all other cast members.
I think it must be a problem with the movie data.
I believe that perhaps for some time, wrongly, he had the English title as his original title.

Reporting the bug, caused a moderator with the username @Banana to look at it, and his conclusion is that there is an issue with the Fallback Language, and then he said I could report the issue to staff here (this forum), so I'm wondering whether a new message in this thread will have any effect, or if I should make a new thread? Or should I go to trello and create a user there to create an issue there?

@Banana's findings (that I can replicate) is that the text below the small posters in "Known for", seems to prefer the fallback language. I.e. if the fallback language is not set or set to a language (I've tried nl-NL) for which no translation exist, the original title is shown, but if the fallback lanuage isset to a language for which a translation does exist, that translation is shown.

I don't think you need to create anything in Trello or create a new conversation here.
Perhaps changing the title of this conversation will be more productive
and will get more attention from administrator Travis Bell.
For example:
Travis - Wrong Title Translation
Or something similar.
