The Movie Database Support

When language is not english by default, it's really difficult sometimes to find content cause some people, even abroad, follow shows in English and sometimes even doesn't know the translation. Also the name of the chapters could be in original language + translated. There is actually no way to see original name.

Example, I'm using spanish castillian, and trying to search TV Series "The Wire". In Spain was traslated to "Bajo Escucha", but no one really uses that translation. So even in the autocomplete appears translated, when you search there's no result for that TV Show. Then if you realize the translated name, chapters are only shown in Spanish, so for those who watch and store content in its original language, it's again difficult to find fast and easy what you're searching.

Another thing is that the search does not appear in relevant (popularity) order, but that's another issue...

Is there any way to search (and see) content in English (too)?

Yes. You can use terms in any language to search.
The answer (see) will come in the language selected on your profile.
If there is no answer in the language selected in your profile, you must receive the fallback answer, that is, in English.
Of course if it exists in English.
Since your question has the term too, which suggests a sort of answer in both languages simultaneously,
so the correct answer to your question is No.

Ok, I guess it was more a "feature request" that a question. Movies have already have "Original Title", I think to look and be more consistent, TV series should have it too.

Thanks for the reply.

But TV series do too.
These are the fields:
name
original_name

Yeah, I meant for every chapter, not just the main title.

I think it would be better for you to post here on the Forum,
in the API Support section, a request for a new feature.
For example:
Original Name for Season and/or Episode
Or something similar.
