But what I don't like is when people just go OT in that thread instead of starting a new one. That's just lazy and inconsiderate.
Haha. Good luck changing others behavior.
I also will try to contribute to the barren landscape.
I don't expect to change anyone's behavior. But I find it odd that so many folks here do that to existing threads. It didn't happen much at IMDb when they had forums. Must be a different crowd here.

A long time to post a reply, but I think the issue is that users don't know what to do or who to go to. On IMDB (before the Dark Time), you had a forum for each movie. Here, you have one forum for everything. It's a Catch-22: if you post a new thread, you possibly get rapped on the knuckles for taking up extra space posting a repeated issue... if you post a reply in an old thread dealing with a particular subject, does it renew the thread or get buried in the e-pile?
I have a similar issue with a few reviews that have yet to pop up, despite in some cases being more than a month old. I will start posting any reviews in the "General" discussion area of a movie page as well as the "Review" section.

Agreed. The general organization of this is website is "meh". But they're not evil and they have a good API that interfaces with Radarr, so it's my preference.
(donning engineer hat) Sounds like a single point of failure. Thanks, both, I'll keep adding them.
I agree, seems incongruous to have all reviews subject to the screening eye of one individual. If I'd known that, plus how long it takes, I wouldn't have bothered to submit one. I thought TMDB was more open tbf. Starting to seem like a pfiefdom.
Also didn't receive confirmation that my toiled-over review had been received and there's no "submitted" section in profile/account whilst reviews wait to be ... reviewed.
