TMDB API v4 missing endpoints

I'm looking to move to api v4 but looking at the provided documentation I can't find the endpoints TRENDING. It is available only in v3 api. Does it right? Is it going to be discontinued further api versions ?

The current API for general use is V3 API.
V4 API should only be used for a few specific cases to manage lists. For all other actions, V3 API should be used.
