The Movie Database Support

Hello,

I've been using the append_to_response=watch/providers which works great.

The information includes the types of viewing e.g. buy, flatrate, rent and free. It took me actually some time before noticing the free option.

Is there a way for me to programatically know all the different viewing options? This would allow a more robust implementation of the API on the user end and prepare for the addition or removal of options.

Many thanks, Joel

Hi @joel_wantedtv,

I think that's all of them:

  • flatrate
  • free
  • ads
  • rent
  • buy

Many thanks @travisbell ; do you think it may be worth having an endpoint which would return that list for when it evolves? The same way there is a /watch/providers/regions, there could be a /watch/providers/watchOptions. I'm just worried that if it changes, there is currently no way to be notified and adapt accordingly.
