In my opinion, this is the point on which all went wrong in your specific case:

The thing is that at first I inserted these credits as Season crew, but then realised that wasn't the proper place, so after having inserted them in the first 5 episodes individually, I deleted them from the Season crew sections (mantaining them in the Episode crew sections).

I assume that the deletion from the season crew section at the end didn't work and messed up everything - for whatever reason. I also try to never mix edits inbetween season and episode level, in this way avoiding some possible mistakes. Meaning, in this case, it might have been better to first remove all 5 credits from the episode section, then remove the credit in the season section, and then add all 5 again in the episode section. And this is also the solution that you can try now to solve the issue:

1. Go to all 5 episodes and remove the credits on episode level.
   
2. Now look at the season level and make sure there's no credit on this level (at this point, you can also check the person page - the credit shouldn't appear anymore).
   
3. If it's still there, remove it from the season level (you can also check the person page again).
   
4. If the credit is finally gone, you can add the credits to all 5 episodes on episode level again.
   

This is basically in short -> undo all edits that you've already made - and start new. In my theory, this should work in this specific case. Just try when you find the time.
