I added two short films to TMDB a while ago that got removed, their pages are still up on Letterboxd and both come under the same director page. I have a new short film that will soon be released in a film festival, if I add that film to TMDB can I make it appear under the same director page on Letterboxd as the removed films? That way there won’t be two pages on Letterboxd for the same director.

Hi, this is an issue for Letterboxd to answer. However, I noticed now that you have several deleted entries (which you mention). This means you will very likely get banned if you add another incorrect entry. As you probably already know we only support professionally released movies. If your new movie qualifies it won't be an issue.
