I'd like to make a personal petition to have "erotic" listed as a genre of film. This, for the record, does not mean porn but simply a film that's beyond "Romance" and what that entails. How often do we view films on sites like Wikipedia and see the phrase "erotic horror" or "erotic thriller" or even simply "erotic film" and yet on sites like TMDB, or even IMDB, that option is not available to actually classify. Romantic feels like its meant for love stories like 500 days of Summer or some 90s rom-com, while "erotic", to me at least, means everything from Emmanuelle to 50 Shades to Last Tango. Think about how this would solve the problem of all those softcore films that do nothing but titillate. Classifying some of these films as a "drama" or nothing is silly. They aren't anything but erotic. Horror films are meant to illicit fear. Action films are meant to illicit adrenaline. Lets have an erotic film genre for arousal.

Could be a good feature to have, and you can have age restrictions aswell

I thought the same thing a while ago but, after reflection, we realize that "erotic" is 99% of the time, a sub-genre. It is either an erotic drama, an erotic thriller, an horror film with erotic elements and sometimes even an erotic comedy. In this case, it is better to put the main genre and put erotic as the keyword.

However, I would be in favor of adding Porn as a genre because this is nothing more than... porn. We see that for many pornographic films, the Adult parameter is set on but the genre is often left empty and this is understandable... It would also be the best way to distinguish, at a glance, an erotic film from a pornographic one. Sometimes the nuance is subtle.
