In this box, you can currently switch between 17 different pages that represent the 17 older seasons (Staffeln) of the show. On each page, you can download a PDF file with all episodes of each season - here are all of these current pages for easier access:
TMDb should follow this order for seasons and episodes, because it's the official order.
Unfortunately, it seems there is a huge problem in regards to seasons 10 to 12 as well as seasons 14 and 15! Beginning with season 10, someone on the official website changed the original/former order to the order above between January 2020 and today! I found out about it when I compared the current data above with the data at Wikipedia - it doesn't match and it looks like a mess. And then I looked at older versions of the official pages on the wayback machine - and it's obvious that someone changed specific data in the past - for whatever reasons:
Unfortunately, it seems the wayback machine does not provide older versions of seasons 12 to 17 - so I'm not sure about the differences in seasons 14/15.
In conclusion: TMDb should follow the official data on the website of network BR, but something is obviously not correct on this website. That's why it's hard to decide which data we should follow? At the moment, I have no idea how to verify the correct order. I need more time to think about it ...
I finally found an official document that confirms this specific season split (official pdf document, page 1, bottom). Season 15 to 17 was approved by the BR-Rundfunkrat in March 2018 for 555 new episodes. In my opinion, this means we have to split the seasons as follows:

I usually do this by opening 2 different browser windows and copy/paste the data from the wrong season (season 15) to the correct season (seasons 16, 17, 18). Do you think you can do this?!? It's quite boring and exhausting, but not very difficult. If you don't find the time - I think I'm going to have time at the beginning of next month. Until then, I'm trying to figure out what we should do with the older seasons.
Also, when we're done with this, we can create an episode group that's ordered by calender year. That's relatively easy - but first we have to do the original order.
Also, if you want to, you can write in German. I'm from Germany and so is @Samara. If that's easier for you, kein Problem!

Ja, sieht gut aus. Zu den alten Staffeln noch folgendes. Ich habe auf der Website des BR und anderswo noch nach alten offiziellen Dokumenten gesucht und ein paar davon gefunden. Es sieht so aus, als ob die Daten bei Wikipedia zu den Staffeln 10 bis 15 nicht korrekt sind. Laut den offiziellen Dokumenten muß der BR-Rundfunkrat von Zeit zu Zeit immer die neuen Staffeln in einem festgelegten Umfang an Episoden absegnen - und die Episodenanzahl stimmt bei Wikipedia leider nicht. Ich vermute, damit hängt auch die Korrektur im Website-Archiv des BR zusammen - man muß hier vermutlich schlicht der Anzahl laut Gremienbeschluß folgen.
Ich schaue mir deshalb gleich im Anschluß auch noch die Staffeln 10 bis 15 an und korrigiere das entsprechend der Liste, die ich oben am 30. Juli gepostet habe. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich das heute alles schaffe - mal schauen...
Nur als Referenz für die Zukunft -> hier die gesammelte Liste der offiziellen Dokumente, die ich bisher fand:

-> ich habe 2 Episoden-Gruppen angelegt -> die erste zeigt/beinhaltet alle Folgen insgesamt (ohne Specials), und die zweite ist geordnet nach Kalenderjahr (ohne Specials). Man könnte noch alle möglichen anderen Episoden-Gruppen erstellen (zum Beispiel eine gemäß des Wikipedia-Eintrags), aber ich habe keine Lust/Zeit mehr;

falls Dir Fehler auffallen, dann kannst Du hier einfach antworten. Auch bei Problemen, die eventuell auftreten. Es müßte eigentlich alles soweit stimmen, aber ich mache häufig doofe Flüchtigkeitsfehler, die ich dann nicht mehr sehe.
