Is there any way for myself to delete a wrong profile photo or someone can help with it? Uploaded it but for wrong actress and cannot figure out how to delete.

Thanks!

Only moderators can delete images on TMDb.

That's what you do -> look for the "Report" button or go to the overview menu and select "report" -> click on it -> write a short description about what went wrong -> click on "Report" -> done. This report ends up in the list of all content issue reports and one of the moderators will look into it eventually (it can take up to 2 months in some cases ...).

Uploaded it but for wrong actress and cannot figure out how to delete.

Do you mean this actress:

https://www.themoviedb.org/person/1411034-nina-lazarevic

I removed the second image.

EDIT

I removed both pictures -> the woman in this picture is Mina Lazarević - and this picture is just awful quality.

EDIT

In general: Please take some time and read about contributing images in our contribution bible here:

https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/image/59f7583e9251416e7100006e

For example, regarding profile photos:

"We prefer head shot style pictures, a specific type of portrait where the focus is on the person's face. The photo will typically end just below the shoulders. Photos should be cropped to meet our preferred style.

Profile pictures should be taken from the front, stay above the waist and have a preferably neutral background. Avoid photos with sunglasses or 'hand on face' poses. Do not add full body images."

Some of the images that you already uploaded are not good choices - for example:

https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/26RtHY5xA8cdkusQCCUAYKsTd1j.jpg
https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/v8tydIHKQceHtcqQ9jKdc9FXXVB.jpg
https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/9EsfEiyqfaUFzQB2X7wYm2MXx0X.jpg

And the last one is in very bad quality - please don't upload images that look like that! pray

Okay. Got it.

Yes. Please remove also photo left there as it is different actress.

I do preapre photos of course because most of them does not meet preferred size and style. You can remove all photos you mentioned here if they do not meet preffered style.

Sure. That was wrong photo.

I removed both pictures

Thanks

the woman in this picture is Mina Lazarević

Yes. I know.

and this picture is just awful quality.

For sure it is.

While you were replying, I just noticed it -> it's Mina Lazarević.

However, this is a good example -> when you look at the quality of the picture:

1.) Photo that you uploaded: https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/kmSJlEtWk2ohZiGvH3CLig8arwT.jpg
2.) Original photo that I found via google image search: https://banja-vrucica.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/MINA-LAZAREVI%C4%86.jpg
3.) Cropped photo that I uploaded: https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/yVjDddXc15io7jetLiHRyN7E5aj.jpg

Do you notice the difference in image quality and how the photos are cropped? Try to achieve such images as best as you can.

Yes, please do. I'm not an image expert, but my co-moderators have all hawk eyes ... joy

I went through all your uploaded profile images and removed those that I think are not good enough. But we moderators can't and won't follow your every step -> we have way too much to do. So, please, take some time, read the image bible, and try to upload good quality images! thumbsup_tone4

That's what they/you are suppose to do as moderators :-)

I do understand but be aware some photos are very, very rare and there is no better quality as some actors died long time ago and they were not photographed a lot in digital era if they were at all. There should be some exceptions. I think the goal is to document as much as you/we can.

Now you can close this topic :-)

No, TMDb's goal is actually the opposite when it comes to the quality of images. There's the following paragraph in the image bible:

"Our policy has always been to keep images at a good to excellent standard. This means that in some cases we prefer to have no image at all rather than having a very bad quality image."

It's very hard to find a unique line between acceptable and not, and we moderators and contributors sometimes disagree about a specific image, especially if there might not be a better one ever face the earth because it happened a long time ago. But the goal itself is what the bible states - the image quality should be good enough for every uploaded image, no matter the context/history/circumstances.

Now you can close this topic :-)

Can you please delete an image for the actor "term"? I accidently uploaded the wrong one.

Please, file a content report (Overview -> Report) on the corresponding actor page, including the URL of the wrong image.

As indicated above, you need to file a content report (Overview -> Report) on the corresponding person page.
