Didn't it use to be every 2 weeks? Then for a while, it was down to every ten days. Then it went back to every 2 weeks. It was always on a Thursday, then it went to Wednesday. This last time was yesterday (Tuesday) & had only been 6 days. I still don't understand why we can't stay logged in for good? I know it's a little thing but it's the little things that drive me crazy!

Yeah, I really wish they'd fix this by giving us an option either to keep it permanent or to be able to choose a very long interval between requests.

The current implementation should only log you out after 7 days of inactivity (meaning if you access TMDb once a week it would essentially last forever).

There is one other thing that can log you out which is a browser version change, so if your browser just updated (OS update or otherwise) that would also trigger a logout.

There could be a bug I’m not aware of, but that’s how it’s designed.

Travis, thanks for letting us know. :-) Since I'm here every day, I'll test it out to see of the next browser update forces the re-login.

This happened to me when Chrome updated a couple of times over the last 10 days. Good to know.

I guess there's no way to set things up so that a simple browser update, which sometimes happens rather frequently, doesn't cause a problem?

I just don't see why we can't just stay logged in forever?
