If I understand your question correctly...
These two types of API Request, search and discover, have 2 limits:

• Maximum of 20 items per page
  
• Maximum of 500 pages
  

So, the limit is 10000 items per Request.
It is not possible to change the number of items per page.
So, it is not possible to remove the page parameter.
